The Candy Kelly is a very exclusive and expensive handbag from the Hermes brand. And as with many exclusive bags, no matter what the cost are, owning them is often more important than using them. And that makes the Candy Kelly an icon in luxury goods. The works of the German Heiner Meyer are often about iconizing luxury goods and objects. He does this in his pop art sculptures and in his paintings that imitated female beauty and the culture of luxury. Using bright colors and cynical humor, he denounces this culture. Desire and lust are recurring themes in his works, as is the world of fame and fortune.

Dream images with a door to the surreal fantasy. Heiner Meyer (1953) was also Salvador Dalí’s assistant. He belongs to the second generation of Pop Art artists.
